Alongside empirical research and policy recommendations, we believe that theoretical inquiry is imperative for the pursuit of rigor and insight. To this end, we present our theoretical research journal Autonomy as a platform for discussion, speculation and analysis. We will be publishing papers regularly as part of an ongoing, plural series.

We invite abstracts from all fields relevant to the study of work, labour and social reproduction, e.g. political economy, sociology, feminist theory, political philosophy, robotics. These papers can be working or discussant papers if suitable.
